Vibration Level Switch - Towa Seiden
Description
The operation principle is based on that the electronic circuit excites the vibration in the rod probe.
When the medium reaches and covers the rod vibration stops, when the medium leaves the rod it returns to vibrate freely.
The electronics senses the change of vibration and gives output signal after a selected delay.
R series Vibration Level Switch is useful for measurement of solid, and it works with tuning fork by piezo crystal.
When tuning fork is immersed into water the vibration frequency is changed, the electronics outputs switching signal by this variation. The tuning fork vibrates its inherent frequency and if it contacts with liquid or solid particle, the inherent vibration frequency is decreased and its energy consumption is increased and then vibration action is paused.
This frequency variation let level switch operated to create a contact signal.
